Night Audit

Night Audit role based onsite in Phoenix, AZ at The Global Ambassador Hotel, overseeing overnight financial reconciliation, guest billing, and overnight front desk support with a focus on security and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-of-day financial reconciliation with precision, ensuring guest accounts balance accurately against hotel records
• Validate and post guest charges, payments, and adjustments with meticulous accuracy
• Address guest questions about billing, charges, and folio details, delivering clear explanations and high-quality service
• Prepare and distribute financial and operational reports to multiple departments, including hotel management
• Audit daily transactions thoroughly to detect and resolve discrepancies or issues
• Support overnight front desk operations with check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests
• Oversee overnight security by monitoring access control to the property
• Serve as the point of contact for emergencies, following established protocols and coordinating responses
• Keep precise records of financial transactions in line with accounting standards
• Uphold a polished, professional appearance in line with luxury brand standards

Requirements

• Minimum two years of Night Audit or accounting experience in a luxury hotel setting is preferred
• Opera PMS experience preferred
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with a sharp attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures preferred
• Proficiency with property management systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
• Professional phone etiquette and strong teamwork mindset
