Night Audit

As a Night Audit for Hotel- Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Mooresville, NC, you will help keep overnight operations running smoothly. This full-time, onsite role combines front desk coverage, transaction accuracy, guest service, and security-minded monitoring to support a seamless transition between shifts.

You will oversee nightly audits, manage guest interactions during late hours, and complete the administrative and reporting work that keeps hotel records organized and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete nightly audits of all hotel transactions to verify accuracy in billing and financial records.
• Manage overnight front desk operations, including handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
• Deliver excellent guest service by responding to guest needs promptly and courteously to support a positive stay.
• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems professionally, providing information and assistance efficiently.
• Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance and performing routine safety checks around the property.
• Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to support clear communication between shifts.
• Support administrative tasks such as updating reservation systems, processing payments, and managing guest accounts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, particularly in front desk or night audit roles.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and excellent phone etiquette.
• Bilingual or multilingual ability is highly desirable to serve a diverse guest population.
• Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle financial transactions during overnight shifts.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high standards for guest relations and safety.
• Previous resort or hotel experience is advantageous for understanding hospitality environment nuances.
