Night Auditor

Overnight front desk coverage and audit responsibilities in Astoria, Oregon, with a part-time schedule from late night through early morning.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests for late-night check-ins and assist with early check-outs in a professional, courteous manner
• Complete overnight audit tasks and balance daily accounts with a strong focus on accuracy
• Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports
• Post room charges and payments, and help resolve billing issues
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members overnight
• Support guest requests and respond to concerns with a problem-solving mindset
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support smooth, seamless service
• Assist with additional duties assigned by hotel leadership

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or college coursework is a plus
• Previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit strongly preferred
• Comfort working independently during overnight hours
• Detail-oriented approach with strong math and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable availability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

Schedule & Position Details

• Location: Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa, Astoria, OR 97103 (onsite)
• Job type: Part-Time
• Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Days: Thursday-Friday and Saturday (weekend availability required)
• Weekly hours: Approximately 24 hours
• Pay range: $18.00–$19.00 per hour (DOE)
