Overnight Houseperson

The Overnight Houseperson supports The Scarlet, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel in Lincoln, Nebraska, by assisting the housekeeping team with linen delivery, supply restocking, public area cleaning, and guest-request support. This onsite role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and maintaining a welcoming environment for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linens, towels, and related supplies to guest rooms in a timely manner
• Replenish housekeeping carts and track inventory to ensure adequate stock
• Clean and maintain public areas including corridors, elevators, and lobbies
• Empty trash and uphold cleanliness in assigned zones
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly with a courteous demeanor
• Support the housekeeping team with special projects and deep cleaning tasks
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards to maintain a safe, healthy environment
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping or related experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
