This onsite role supports a smooth guest experience by keeping assigned rooms clean, refreshed, and maintained to established standards. The Room Attendant/Housekeeper position also supports other hotel areas when coverage is needed, helping the team stay ready during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting when interactions occur.
• Clean guest rooms to established standards within the allotted time frame, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock other amenities as needed.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures, including dusting furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Notify managers when repairs are needed in guest rooms.
• Process guest items left in rooms according to the lost and found policy.
• Maintain safe work habits, including wearing protective safety equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform house person and lobby attendant duties when short staffed or during peak periods.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Complete other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English.

Work Environment

The work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends. The role involves standing for extended periods and includes walking, pushing and pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 20 pounds, as well as using cleaning chemicals.
