Senior Restaurant and Bar Manager

The Senior Restaurant and Bar Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and financial performance of the hotel’s restaurant, bars, and in-room dining services at The National Hotel in Miami Beach, FL. This role focuses on guest satisfaction, luxury service standards, revenue growth, and building a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee evening operations for Mareva 1939 and bar 1939 outlets.
• Ensure all venues are properly staffed, prepared, and maintained in line with hotel standards.
• Maintain an active floor presence during meal periods and peak business hours.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally.
• Manage labor scheduling, productivity, and payroll controls.
• Review sales reports, P&Ls, and operational metrics to support profitability.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate team members.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings and enforce service standards.
• Oversee beverage programs, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Coordinate special events, promotions, and outlet buyouts.
• Handle payroll management and shift service charge and hour control.

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of management experience in upscale or luxury restaurant and bar operations.
• Strong working knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and service techniques.
• Demonstrated ability in financial and operational management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using POS, scheduling, and inventory systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
• Food Handler Certification preferred.
