Server Assistant

Pyramid Hotel Group is seeking a Server Assistant for the Virginia Guesthouse in Charlottesville, VA. This onsite role supports the service team, maintains cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, keeps serving stations stocked, and assists with guest service in a fast-paced environment as the property opens in April 2026.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests as they enter or move through the dining area.
• Ensure server stations are properly stocked and prepared for service.
• Assist servers in maintaining clean, ready tables for arriving guests.
• Support servers with ongoing service tasks and guest needs.
• Maintain a clean and orderly restaurant environment.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of operations to effectively manage the dining room.
• Collaborate with fellow servers, kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills.
