Job Description

As a Slot Ambassador, you serve as front-line support for guests on the casino floor, helping keep slot areas running smoothly while delivering prompt, courteous service. The role includes monitoring assigned slot sections, assisting with guest needs, and ensuring accurate cash and jackpot handling in accordance with applicable controls.

Onsite Role Overview

Location: Pahrump, NV (onsite)
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous guest service aligned with the company guest service culture.
  • Monitor assigned slot section(s) efficiently while keeping the area clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Proactively assist guests by responding to service lights, processing jackpots, redeeming ticket vouchers, and performing minor machine repairs.
  • Refill printer vouchers, inspect for counterfeit currency, and enter jackpot data accurately into the computer system.
  • Handle and secure company-issued keys in compliance with departmental procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, friendly demeanor while resolving guest disputes and promoting special offers or property amenities.
  • Communicate effectively with team members via radio to support smooth operations.
  • Maintain an accurate assigned currency bank and follow proper money-handling procedures.
  • Coordinate with Casino Operations and Security to detect and report suspicious behavior or attempts to cheat.
  • Notify Slot Operations management of floor irregularities and escalate issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.
  • 6 months of experience in a guest service or casino operations role (preferred).
  • Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a high-paced environment.
  • Comfortable learning and retaining working knowledge of slot machines, payout procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience handling cash and operating systems such as computers, radios, scanners, and adding machines.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at the floor, knee, waist, and chest levels.
  • Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist.
  • Regularly sit and work at a desk or computer.
  • Frequently standing and walking.
  • Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone.
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person.
  • Ability to distinguish between shades of color.
  • Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.
