Spa Attendant/Housekeeping

Part-time Spa Attendant/Housekeeper role at The Brownwood Hotel & Spa focused on cleanliness, guest comfort, and smooth spa operations onsite in The Villages, FL.

Responsibilities

• Greet spa guests and respond to inquiries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Resolve service issues and support an outstanding guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness of spa work areas, including facility spaces, locker rooms, machines, and equipment per federal, state, local, and company standards
• Stock and replenish supplies and products, including clean towels, fresh water, drinking cups, and other guest items
• Monitor spa facility use to help ensure guest safety
• Complete financial transactions as needed
• Support general spa duties as needed
• Keep the facility organized and clean, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and taking out trash
• Assist with spa area set up and breakdown as required
• Restock linens in locker rooms and appropriate guest areas
• Remove dirty laundry and collect dirty linens from guest areas for delivery to the housekeeping area or laundry pickup
• Clean and sanitize wet areas, bathrooms, and grooming areas throughout the day
• Distribute linens in treatment rooms (as applicable), closets, and dispensary areas (as applicable)
• Escort guests to changing areas courteously and promptly
• Provide Brownwood Spa guest tours
• Explain locker room, bathroom, and shower setup and how the spaces work
• Perform laundry duties (if applicable), including washing, drying, and folding linens
• Become familiar with the facility and amenities to communicate effectively with guests
• Greet each guest with a smile and direct eye contact
• Notify facility management of member, guest, or facility issues
• Report incidents or accidents to a member of the management team
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to have conversations with members/guests so information is understood
• Efficient and well organized; able to manage a variety of duties at the same time
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational
• Professional demeanor, discretion, and appearance
• Strong team player
• Ability to stay calm and composed while under pressure
• Strong attention to detail
• Availability when the facility is open, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Required to operate mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, dusters, scrub brushes, cleaning supplies, detergents, disinfectants, towels, guest supplies (soap, shampoo, conditioner), and linen carts
