Room Attendant

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a part time Room Attendant for The Elms Hotel & Spa in Excelsior Springs, MO (onsite). This role supports a clean, welcoming guest experience while you help maintain resort and hotel standards across assigned areas. The position offers an hourly rate of $16.00.

What you’ll do

• Engage with guests in a courteous, helpful way to ensure their stay is going well
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas through thorough daily attention
• Prepare and maintain guest rooms by changing and inspecting linens and towels each day and following the standards set forth in the Green Program
• Keep your work cart organized and properly stocked
• Use equipment, supplies, and guest amenities correctly and efficiently
• Practice safety standards by staying alert to hazards such as broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons, and report issues as found
• Show respect for guests’ property at all times
• Take care of housekeeping equipment responsibly
• Report to work on time and follow the posted schedule to support accurate time records and proper standards for room issuance
• Perform other related duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor

• Housekeeping experience is desirable

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to move and position yourself to reach corners on floors and high places, and to navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces
• Ability to operate housekeeping equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
