Job Description

In Cage Operations, this role provides dedicated service to guests while handling a range of cashier duties, including deposits, bank transactions, and asset movements. The position is on site in Bristol, VA, with responsibilities spanning multiple cash handling areas within the cage environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cage deposits and maintain precise records.
  • Receive daily hard and soft count drops as part of cash handling processes.
  • Replenish banks for window and change attendants and other cash stations.
  • Document compliance with internal controls relating to markers, front money, and key control.
  • Perform related duties as assigned and operate across different cage areas as needed.
  • Handle transactions in areas including Marker Bank, Fill Bank, Employee Services Bank, and Main Bank.
  • Accurately document asset movements for the assigned area.
  • Process pit related transactions such as fill requests and credits.
  • Manage document transfers and dealer token processes.
  • Execute slot related activities, including manual jackpots, multi‑payment payouts, slot markers, and token processing.
  • Prepare deposits comprising cash, cash equivalents, markers, and personal checks.
  • Accept and process wire transfers and cash equivalents per standard operating procedures.
  • Assist employees with retail, food and beverage, and slot floats to support their duties.
  • Complete additional assignments requested by the cage supervisor and higher management.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in the appropriate uniform and be punctual for assigned areas.
  • Comply with all Virginia Lottery regulations.

Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain licenses and certifications as required by Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery regulations.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and casino policies.
  • Must pass a drug screening.
  • Adherence to internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Compliance with AML and Title 31 regulations.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • Proficiency with computers and software such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong basic math skills and familiarity with a 10-key calculator.

Pay Range
