Trail Runner

The Trail Runner role supports a positive guest experience by delivering strong guest service and thorough cleaning across cabins and shared areas at an onsite location in Navasota, TX.

Job Purpose

Provide excellent guest service and cleaning services, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing walls, windows, and mirrors in cabins and common areas. Maintain a pleasant, comfortable experience for guests during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cabin interiors for cleaning by removing all trash, stripping all linens, and re-stocking cabin provisions.
• Stage outdoor spaces for each guest by cleaning and setting up lounge areas, including the fire pit, campfire kit, Adirondack chairs, and picnic table.
• Clean cabin exteriors, including windows, hitch, and wheels, and remove all trash from assigned outdoor areas.
• Respond to guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions appropriately, and refer items to management as needed to support superior guest service.
• May gather waste and/or contaminated materials for disposal.
• Work across assigned areas of the Outpost, which may include cabins, trails, and common areas.
• Use and maintain assigned equipment and supplies according to departmental specifications, including vacuums, chemicals, and cleaning aides.

Work Location and Schedule

This position is onsite in Navasota, TX, with flexibility required to work in shifts. The role also requires flexibility with workdays and hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Work experience as a Trail Runner or Houseman/Houseperson is required.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Good physical health and stamina, with continuous movement and regular bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Excellent organization skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Preferences include a strong interest in cleaning, an impeccable eye for detail, and comfort working in a self-directed environment.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Compensation

USD 15 - 15 per hourly
