Banquet Houseman

Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa on Del Monte Golf Course is seeking a Banquet Houseman to support banquet events in Monterey, CA. In this onsite role, you will help prepare event spaces, deliver required items, and maintain clean and organized banquet areas to support successful guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the banquet team to set up and break down event spaces so they are ready for scheduled functions.
• Assist with arranging furniture, setting tables, and preparing rooms according to event specifications.
• Support banquet servers by delivering equipment, supplies, and other items in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in banquet areas to support a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the banquet team to support seamless service and help meet guest expectations.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance using a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards to help ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork and excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs and seniority.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Salary

Hourly: USD 22.00 to 22.00 per hour.

Salary Range (as listed): USD $22.46 - USD $22.46 /Hr.
