Bellperson - Part Time

As a part-time Bellperson at The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee, you will help set the tone for every guest arrival and departure with attentive, gracious service. In this onsite role, you will support the lobby experience by assisting with luggage, coordinating transportation, and partnering with Front Desk, Concierge, and Valet teams to keep guest needs moving smoothly.

Working in a 24/7 luxury hotel environment, you will be the person guests turn to for directions, hotel information, and local recommendations, while also helping maintain a polished, welcoming lobby and entrance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure, assisting with luggage, directions, and hotel information to create a memorable first and last impression.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain available amenities and services to ensure a seamless, personalized arrival.
• Support transportation requests by coordinating valet services, arranging taxis or rideshare transportation, and offering concierge-style guidance and local recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and a professional appearance in lobby, entrance, and guest service areas while upholding Pfister’s luxury hospitality standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and collaborate with Front Desk, Concierge, and Valet teams to resolve concerns efficiently.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to exceptional guest service with a professional, friendly, hospitality-focused demeanor.
• Verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, associates, and business partners.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull luggage and other items up to 50 pounds, with readiness for physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach, and to work indoors and outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed in a 24/7 hotel setting.
