Blackjack Dealer School - Late Evenings
Job Description
Two-week, hands-on Blackjack Dealer School at River City Casino & Hotel in St. Louis, offering auditions for casino floor placement and pathways to Part-Time or Full-Time dealer roles with earnings up to $28 per hour (including tip pool).
Responsibilities
- Study Blackjack rules, table procedures, and game variations, along with other table games.
- Develop accurate and efficient handling of cards, chips, and cash transactions.
- Learn game security practices to protect assets while maintaining fair play.
- Deliver courteous, professional guest service by engaging with players.
- Gain familiarity with company policies, departmental procedures, and state gaming regulations.
- Participate in two weeks of hands-on training focused on Blackjack fundamentals.
- Complete an audition at the end of Week 2 to qualify for casino floor placement.
- Begin dealing shifts as a Part-Time Dealer.
- Enter a Dual (Dealer/Supervisor) role within the first 90 days: deal 4 days/week and supervise 1 day/week, with ongoing shadowing and mentorship as you move into leadership.
Requirements
- You must be 21 or older and eligible for a valid gaming license.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
- Motivation to learn at Dealer School with training on table games, policies, and procedures.
- Comfort with numbers and ability to pass a basic math test during the interview.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and building positive guest experiences.
- High energy, team-oriented mindset, and ability to handle challenges professionally.
- Organized, detail-focused, and precise when handling chips, cash, and calculations.

Training Overview
- Training pay of $15.00 per hour
