Breakfast Host/Houseperson

Join The Addison Hotel as a Breakfast Host/Houseperson in Addison, TX, supporting an inviting breakfast experience and helping keep public spaces clean and guest-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain breakfast areas each morning, keeping stations stocked with required supplies and equipment
• Clean and sanitize dining spaces, including tables, chairs, countertops, and serving areas, using proper sanitation procedures
• Complete floor and surface upkeep, such as vacuuming, mopping, and dusting, to maintain a spotless environment
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle chemical agents in line with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols
• Assist with manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting to move supplies or furniture, following manual handling safety standards
• Support housekeeping management by maintaining cleanliness in public areas and assisting with custodial duties as needed
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and observe safety protocols during all cleaning and sanitation activities

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work is preferred, but not required; learning motivation is valued
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and safe operation of floor cleaning equipment
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, plus prolonged standing or walking
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and SDS requirements
• Industrial cleaning or hospitality experience is a plus (training will be provided for the right candidate)
• Bi Lingual is a big plus

Pay and Schedule

• Pay: $15.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 32.0–40.0 per week
• Work location: Onsite (in person)
