Full-time Room Attendant
Job Description
Full-time room attendant position at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida, onsite.
Responsibilities
- Interact with guests to help ensure a smooth and comfortable stay
- Collaborate with teammates to uphold resort cleanliness standards
- Maintain an organized, well stocked housekeeping cart
- Use equipment, supplies, and guest amenities properly
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of assigned guest rooms and areas
- Daily linen and towel changes and inspections in line with Green Program standards
- Follow safety procedures, identify hazards such as broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious individuals, and report them as found
- Handle guest property with care and respect
- Care for equipment used during assignments
- Arrive on time according to schedule, maintain accurate time records, and adhere to room issuance standards
- Maintain an alert, courteous, and helpful demeanor toward guests and colleagues at all times
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Floor Supervisor
Requirements
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Neat, friendly personality
- Good time management
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
- Capability to move around and reach corners and high areas, observe conditions, detect odors, maneuver carts up to 100 lbs in tight spaces, and operate cleaning tools including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
- Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
