Job Description

The Group Sales Manager is responsible for driving group revenue and positioning E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences as a leading destination for group business, celebrations, and high-profile events. This onsite role in Miami, FL emphasizes outbound sales, strategic account management, prospecting, negotiation, and closing group opportunities aligned with brand and revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive group revenue by meeting or exceeding established sales goals and performance targets.
  • Own assigned market segments by prospecting, qualifying, and closing group business that aligns with the elevated E11EVEN brand.
  • Manage sales activity within the established sales expense budget while maximizing overall revenue impact.
  • Initiate, track, and follow up on sales leads to convert opportunities into confirmed business.
  • Maintain a strategic sales solicitation program to keep E11EVEN top of mind in the group marketplace.
  • Monitor production from top accounts, evaluate market trends, and adjust sales strategies to improve performance.
  • Build and sustain relationships with existing accounts through consistent contact based on the Account Coverage Program.
  • Achieve or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director of Sales.
  • Create memorable client experiences by hosting site inspections, property tours, entertainment, and client engagements that showcase the E11EVEN lifestyle.
  • Deliver polished, engaging, and professional site inspections that communicate the hotel’s unique features, energy, and group offerings.
  • Support execution of special promotions, sales blitzes, and targeted initiatives to drive group demand.
  • Prepare and submit required sales reports accurately and within established timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Highgate sales policies, procedures, and selling techniques with a focus on maximizing occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR).
  • Use the hotel’s sales and CRM systems to enter and manage business, generate reports, block space, and maintain account profiles.
  • Act as the primary onsite point of contact for group clients to ensure a seamless experience from booking through arrival.
  • Adhere to Prime Selling Time (PST) standards to support consistent outbound sales productivity.
  • Expand brand visibility and generate new business through participation in community events, professional associations, and industry networking.
  • Review meeting planner feedback with the Director of Sales and ensure timely follow-up on service opportunities and improvements.
  • Respond promptly and strategically to inquiries as part of the Inquiry Day Program to maximize conversion.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of progressive sales experience, including at least three years in a leadership or managerial role within high-performance, revenue-driven environments.
  • Proven experience within a hotel, resort, or luxury lifestyle hospitality brand is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on exposure to entertainment-forward, nightlife-adjacent, or destination properties is highly desired and critical to success.
  • College coursework in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Windows-based systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word-processing applications is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the presence, polish, and confidence to engage high-profile clients, senior leadership, and VIP guests.
  • Ability to listen, read the room, anticipate needs, and articulate value-driven solutions clearly.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform at an elite level in a fast-paced, high-energy, nightlife-influenced environment.

  • Attendance at all required hotel meetings, trainings, and brand activations is expected.
