Guest Experience Planner
Job Description
At Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club in Miami Beach, FL, the Guest Experience Planner supports day-to-day guest needs by coordinating local services and experiences through area knowledge and trusted relationships with nearby merchants. This onsite role combines guest-facing assistance, practical planning, and responsive communication to help visitors navigate the hotel and the surrounding destination.
What You’ll Do
- Use knowledge of the hotel’s daily operations, banquets, meeting room rates, functions of the day, hours of operation, and the surrounding area.
- Maintain work areas clean and organized.
- Log all activities, including guest comments.
- Answer questions and respond to requests for assistance and information.
- Share local guidance such as directions, places to eat, attractions, transportation options, shows, and childcare resources.
- Arrange services and logistics, including transportation and reservations, plus support for requests such as directions to meetings and events inside the hotel.
- Deliver messages for guests and communicate special events, guest needs, and other items of interest to employees.
- Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
- Keep food presentation stocked, fresh, and presentable.
- Review the leisure section of the local newspaper for current events and update the activities list.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
- Order supplies and guest amenities.
Local Knowledge and Guest Support
The Guest Experience Planner provides destination expertise across attractions, nightlife, and special services in the surrounding area. The position supports arranging transportation, restaurant reservations, and recommended places to visit, along with services including health and beauty options, cultural events, religious worship, childcare, shopping, and florist requests. You will also explain hotel facilities and help guests find their way to meetings, events, and key areas within the property.
Requirements
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
- Be familiar with the local area and attractions.
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
- Preferred typing of 35 words per minute minimum.
- Customer service experience preferred (1-2 years).
- No employee will pose a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others.
