Hotel Maintenance

This is a full-time hotel maintenance technician position with rotating evening, weekend, and occasional morning shifts. The role focuses on general maintenance while delivering an excellent guest experience across Comfort Suites Hotel, Conference Center, Holiday Inn Express, and Cactus Red's Restaurant in Ogden, Utah.

Experience

Facilities maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Education

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Perform general maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry repairs.
• Maintain hotel pools and spas, including chemical testing and balancing.
• Assist with carpet cleaning and upkeep of hotel grounds, pavilion, and garden areas.
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal in winter and sprinkler maintenance in summer.
• Keep maintenance supplies organized and report low inventory.
• Respond to guest requests and maintenance concerns in a professional manner.
• Communicate regularly with management regarding repairs and property needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
• Pool and spa maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable and able to respond to seasonal maintenance needs, including snow removal.
• Driver's License (Preferred)
