Housekeeper - Full Time

This is a full-time Housekeeper role based onsite in Colchester, VT with Giri Hotel Management at Residence Inn Burlington. The position focuses on maintaining a clean, well-presented hotel environment, completing routine room care tasks, and supporting strong guest service through attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the hotel to support a positive guest experience.
• Complete core housekeeping duties, including changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Identify any guest items left behind and report and return lost properties.
• Notify a supervisor regarding any reported cases of property damage.
• Collaborate with a team of housekeepers during each shift.
• Keep workstations and housekeeping equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with other staff members to ensure guest rooms meet hotel standards and support any special guest needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Continuous standing for approximately 90% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (limited).
• Ability to push up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Full-time hours: 38–40 hours per shift with Morning (AM) and Afternoon (PM) options, including weekends and holidays; schedule may vary based on need.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous housekeeping experience (preferred, not required).
• Previous customer-facing experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Second language is a plus.

Compensation and Work Location

$20 per hour. Onsite role in Colchester, VT.
