Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel to help create a memorable guest experience
• Complete core housekeeping tasks such as changing bed linens, restocking room supplies, vacuuming, and dusting
• Report and return any guest properties left behind
• Report property damage cases to your supervisor
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Coordinate with other staff to ensure guest rooms meet hotel standards and support special guest needs
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but training is available for the right applicant
• Ability to remain continuously standing 90% of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (limited)
• Ability to push up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work independently
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English is required
• Hours required: Full Time 24–40 hour shift, Morning (AM) and Afternoon (PM), weekends/holidays, flexible schedule based on need; scheduled days and times may vary

Preferred qualities

• Previous customer-facing experience
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Second language is a plus
