Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant to maintain guest rooms, restock supplies, and assist guests at Comfort Inn Hotel. This onsite role in Houston, TX involves cleaning duties, linen management, and responsive service to guest needs to support a comfortable stay.
Role Overview
The Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, changing linens, replenishing amenities, and handling guest inquiries to uphold the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and service at Comfort Inn Hotel in Houston.
Responsibilities
- Replace bed linens and make beds to hotel standards
- Replace used towels with fresh ones
- Sweep and mop floors across assigned areas
- Vacuum carpeted spaces
- Dust and wipe down furniture and fixtures
- Replenish bath amenities such as soap and shampoo
- Restock mini-bar items, including beverages and snacks
- Clean and maintain public areas such as corridors
- Report technical issues and maintenance needs
- Respond to guest queries regarding available services
- Assist guests with locating lost items
- Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
- Adhere to hotel security guidelines
Requirements
- Prior work experience as a Room Attendant or Maid
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Good physical health and stamina
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Ability to work with little supervision while meeting high performance standards
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- High school diploma is a plus
