Housekeeper, Maid

Sure Stay Hotel by Best Western in Sarasota, FL is hiring a Housekeeper, Maid to support day-to-day cleanliness across the property. This on-site role can be part-time or full-time and focuses on keeping guest areas fresh, orderly, and ready for daily occupancy while following hotel standards and required regulations.

In this position, you will help maintain a strong customer experience by completing room servicing tasks on schedule, recording serviced rooms, and supporting safe operations throughout the hotel. You will also support the broader team by flagging shortages, damages, and security concerns as they come up, and by keeping equipment and supplies in good working order.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all assigned areas to meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards within established time limits
• Deliver excellent customer service during cleaning and service-related interactions
• Create daily job lists and record all serviced rooms
• Maintain housekeeping equipment in good condition
• Report shortages, damages, or security issues promptly
• Handle reasonable guest complaints and requests, and notify others when required
• Check stocking levels of all consumables
• Comply with health and safety regulations and follow company policies and licensing laws
