This on-site role in Myrtle Beach, SC focuses on maintaining high sanitation and attractive spaces across rooms, units, and shared areas. The role supports our commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness and guest experiences in both hospitality and residential settings.

Compensation

Hourly wage: USD 14 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet upkeep.
• Apply established cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene across all spaces.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners with safety and precision.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens (where applicable), and outdoor spaces as needed.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies while following safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with guests or residents to understand cleaning needs and preferences and ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Prior hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage techniques to ensure effective sanitation.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
• Ability to perform outdoor work when required for exterior spaces or patios.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents.
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not mandatory.
• Previous experience with a national brand such as Marriot is highly preferred.
