Housekeeping Attendant

As a Housekeeping Attendant onsite in Garner, NC, you will keep guest rooms cleaned, refreshed, and maintained to hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Change bed linen daily
• Vacuum carpeting
• Dust all furniture, including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, and dressers
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, shiny surfaces, windows, and similar areas
• Thoroughly clean bathroom areas, including shower stall, sink, floor, toilet, and related fixtures
• Ensure each room’s standard set-up is completed and compliant
• Report immediately any damage found in a room
• Report immediately missing items in the room; report immediately personal guest items found in vacant rooms
• Turn in lost and found items immediately to the Executive Housekeeper
• Assist housekeepers with additional cleaning chores as assigned

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and thorough cleaning approach
• Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and folding tasks for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
