Housekeeping Supervisor

Support a clean, welcoming guest experience while leading a team in a fast-paced hotel environment at BEST WESTERN Gateway Grand Hotel in Gainesville, FL. This onsite Housekeeping Supervisor role combines daily operational leadership with hands-on quality standards, ensuring rooms and shared spaces stay fresh, organized, and ready for guests.

What you’ll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to keep operations running efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to verify cleanliness and compliance with established standards.
• Train and support staff, including onboarding new employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Manage supplies and equipment by tracking inventory, maintaining resources, and ordering cleaning supplies as needed.
• Develop cleaning schedules that support productivity while maintaining quality throughout the facility.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally to support customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate across departments to help ensure seamless hotel operations.
• Maintain housekeeping records, including staff performance evaluations and incident reports.

What you bring

• Proven experience in custodial services or hotel housekeeping management is required.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, industrial cleaning methods, and hospitality standards.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Detail-oriented approach and strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is preferred.

Schedule, pay, and job details

This is an in person role with Full-time and Part-time options. Pay is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour.
