Pay range: USD 16.00 per hour. This onsite role is based in Houston, TX.
Overview
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Turndown Attendant to complete the evening turndown service for guests. This onsite role in Houston, TX is part of the only Forbes Five-Star hotel in Texas, contributing to the renowned guest experience and high standards of Forbes service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evening turndown service in line with The Post Oak Hotel's Forbes Five-Star standards
- Respond promptly to guest requests and coordinate with other departments as needed
- Enter guest rooms following access procedures and confirm vacancy before entry
- Refresh guest amenities, replace linens and terry, and make beds
- Clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items
- Check that all room appliances are present and functioning
- Straighten desk items, furniture, and appliances
Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of previous customer service or cleaning experience
- Knowledge in or experience with Forbes 4/5 Star service standards is preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance; heavier loads with assistance
- Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
