Houseperson

Fairlane Hotel in Nashville invites you to join as a full-time Houseperson. This role supports the Housekeeping team to maintain the cleanliness and appearance throughout the hotel, respond to guest requests, and assist Room Attendants and the Executive Housekeeper with daily priorities. Responsibilities

• Strip linen and discard trash from rooms that are vacant or have checked out to ready them for Room Attendants
• Deliver requested housekeeping supplies such as irons, ironing boards, and hair dryers to guest rooms
• Assist Room Attendants with heavy lifting, room turns, and special requests to maintain steady workflow
• Report lost and found items, maintenance issues, and any room discrepancies to ensure quick resolution
• Clean and maintain hallways, storage rooms, closets, and all guest areas to hotel standards
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, including shampooing carpets, washing windows and light fixtures, and servicing guest elevators
• Restock housekeeping closets on each floor and replenish linen carts as needed
• Receive assignments, keys, radios, and special guest requests at the start of shift
• Check and replenish supplies and cleaning tools throughout the day to keep operations smooth
• Return radio and keys at the end of the shift for security and accountability
• Follow all company safety, security, and confidentiality policies and procedures

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and a teamfirst attitude
• Ability to follow detailed daily assignments and respond quickly to changing priorities
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods; lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

Schedule

On-property, daytime position with varying schedules based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred

• Experience supporting Room Attendants in a fastpaced, highoccupancy hotel
• Prior housekeeping or related experience
