Laundry Attendant

The Plaza Hotel and Suites in Winona, MN is seeking a Laundry Attendant to keep hotel linens clean, properly stocked, and ready for daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens daily to support the washing process, ensuring machine load minimums are met before starting cycles.
• Address heavily stained items using the approved reclaim process and permanently remove from circulation any linen or terry that cannot be reclaimed.
• Operate washers and dryers correctly and safely.
• Fold linens in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized laundry area.
• Handle all laundry chemicals properly per OSHA guidelines, consulting the MSDS for safe handling and updating the Housekeeping Manager on inventory levels.
• Assist the housekeeping department in other areas when laundry demand is light or work is caught up.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
