Licensed Esthetician

The licensed esthetician role at Waterstone Spa, located within Ashland Springs Hotel in Ashland, Oregon, centers on delivering aesthetic treatments and cosmetic tattooing with a strong emphasis on client care, safety, and personalized skincare.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of esthetic services including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and laser treatments tailored to client needs.
• Provide specialized cosmetic tattooing services such as lip blush, eyeliner pigment application, microblading, and permanent makeup with precision and safety.
• Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and aftercare to support optimal outcomes.
• Adhere to tattooing and piercing safety protocols, sanitation standards, and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain accurate client records using electronic medical record systems while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Communicate clearly with clients to understand aesthetic goals and suggest suitable treatments or products.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety during all procedures to ensure client safety and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience with esthetic treatments including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and laser therapy.
• Expertise in tattooing techniques such as lip blush, microblading, eyeliner pigment application, and permanent makeup procedures.
• Strong knowledge of tattooing safety regulations, sanitation practices, infection control measures, and client communication skills.
• Familiarity with cosmetology principles, including color theory and anatomy relevant to aesthetic procedures.
• Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently for managing medical records and treatment documentation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to educate clients about aesthetic treatments and skincare products.
• Knowledge of hair threading techniques and makeup application for comprehensive client care.
