Night Auditor
Job Description

As the Night Auditor, you will balance revenue and settle accounts nightly, help maintain reliable records for the next day, and also step into Guest Service Agent responsibilities such as check-in and check-out. You will contribute to an efficient front desk experience while monitoring guest satisfaction and responding to inquiries and complaints.
Responsibilities
- Complete bookkeeping activities including balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits
- Maintain records of room availability and guests’ accounts, manually or using computers
- Prepare and distribute daily reports
- Audit and reconcile cashiers
- Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis
- Enter and update financial information in the BRAINS network
- Perform Guest Service Agent tasks, including guest check-in/out
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve complaints
- Track guest satisfaction scores and work toward improving departmental and overall results
- Maintain safe work habits and use protective safety equipment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction and complete other duties as requested by management
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training required
- Computer knowledge, including Excel, and strong arithmetic skills required
- FSD is a plus; required within 90 days of employment
