Public Area Attendant

Hotel Paseo, Autograph Collection is seeking a Public Area Attendant to help maintain a clean, welcoming environment across the lobby and other shared spaces in Palm Desert, CA. This role focuses on responsive service, careful upkeep of public and back-of-house areas, and support of the housekeeping team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver strong guest and associate rapport by responding promptly, effectively, and courteously to requests.
• Identify and report floor and carpet care needs, along with repairs, to the Housekeeping manager or supervisor.
• Maintain assigned public areas and back-of-house spaces to the required standards.
• Keep all equipment in a safe and clean condition.
• Assist other Housekeeping associates with assigned work efforts.
• Vacuum, dust, and collect trash in all designated areas.
• Clean and re-supply bathrooms, entrance glass, offices, the pool area, fitness area, and restaurants as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial work is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to represent the hotel in a courteous, well-groomed manner.
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, grasp, stretch, and push a cart regularly.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Availability for a varied schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Physical stamina for repetitive manual tasks.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

• USD 19 per hour (salary listed)
• Starting at $19.75/Hour (wage estimate)
