Restaurant Server (Daytime)

Support guest breakfasts and lunches with polished service, fast timing, and local recommendations at Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a bright, professional presence that sets a positive tone at any point during daytime service
• Maintain smooth service flow while transitioning from steady breakfast seating to a high-pace lunch period where timing matters
• Highlight morning and midday offerings while proactively mentioning Spa services, the retail shop, and evening dinner options for guests planning later in the day
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep daytime service organized and consistent
• Support guests with afternoon plans by recommending local sights and hotel amenities to enhance their Adirondack stay

Requirements

• Friendly, welcoming personality that helps guests feel at home from the moment they sit down
• Ability to stay calm and efficient during peak breakfast and lunch hours while juggling multiple priorities
• 1–2 years of service experience with a professional, polished approach
• TIPS certified (or willing to become certified), with a focus on sanitation, order, and precision
