Room Attendant

Join The Ameswell Hotel on-site in Mountain View, CA, as a Room Attendant responsible for clean, well-prepared guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes guest rooms and bathrooms to The Ameswell Hotel standards, including fixtures, showers, tubs, and flooring
• Changes linens, remakes beds, and replaces towels and bathroom amenities
• Dusts and polishes furniture; realigns items to the approved floor plan; vacuums and sweeps flooring
• Performs interior window, closet, and door track cleaning, removing dust and debris
• Empties trash and restocks supplies, carts, and bathrobes as needed
• Completes room rotation and deep-cleaning tasks when required
• Delivers and retrieves loaned items for guests; checks and secures rooms
• Updates room status on the assignment sheet and restocks the cart at the end of each shift
• Reports guest or employee concerns, plus any maintenance or repair needs, to the Manager immediately
• Provides accurate information by staying familiar with hotel services and local attractions
• Follows standard operating procedures and maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Familiarity with sanitation, cleaning, and safety standards
• Comfort working independently while staying self-motivated to meet deadlines and quality expectations
• Ability to work varying shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Respectful, discreet, and detail-oriented approach with guests, coworkers, and the property

Compensation

• USD 24 per hour
