Room Attendant

The Room Attendant plays a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service for guests and members at the AC Hotel Tuscaloosa Downtown. This full-time, onsite position focuses on day-to-day room care, deep cleaning tasks, and timely guest request handling while following all safety and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms to established standards.
• Vacuum rooms and corridors.
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities according to company guidelines.
• Complete regular deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Restock and maintain the trolley on a daily basis.
• Report any missing or damaged items to the Housekeeping Supervisor and take ownership to ensure items are replaced or repaired to avoid interruption to the guest’s stay.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment used in guest rooms and work areas is in working condition, including equipment located inside and around guest rooms.
• Maintain environmental awareness in daily tasks.
• Dispose of waste in the appropriate manner.
• Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Comply with hotel security procedures, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
• Carry out lost property procedures.
• Assist other departments when necessary and maintain effective working relationships.

Schedule and Employment Details

This is a full-time, year-round role based onsite at the AC Hotel Tuscaloosa Downtown. The position requires a 1st shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
