Room Attendant - Housekeeper

The Room Attendant – Housekeeper role at AC Hotel Boston Cambridge onsite in Cambridge, MA is dedicated to cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to meet established standards and support guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a courteous, friendly greeting.
• Clean guest rooms to standards within the allotted time using sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and other amenities.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures; dust furnishings, walls, and equipment.
• Inform managers about repairs needed in guest rooms.
• Handle guest items left in rooms according to the lost and found policy.
• Follow safe work practices, wear protective safety gear, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Carry out house person and lobby attendant duties when staffing is limited or during peak periods.
• Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and work to improve departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• English proficiency for effective communication.
