Room Attendant / Housekeeper

What you’ll do

• Clean and reset every checkout room to The Wesley Hotel standard, including beds, bathrooms, floors, dusting, amenities, trash, and a final check against the room checklist
• Start each shift by stocking your cart with linens, amenities, and supplies so you can complete rooms without stopping mid-clean
• Document anything broken, missing, or damaged for maintenance with a photo and quick note, then bring questions to the head of housekeeping
• Coordinate with the laundry team to keep clean linens moving and maintain organized storage areas
• Help keep shared spaces guest-ready on busy days, including hallways, the lobby, the courtyard, and the pool deck
• Mark rooms clean and ready on your phone (training provided)
• Close out your shift by checking in with the front desk regarding early check-ins and late checkouts so priority rooms get turned first, then restock your cart for tomorrow
• Follow lost-and-found and guest privacy procedures

Schedule and expected hours

• Part time: 1 to 4 shifts per week
• Mostly mornings and early afternoons (usually 5 to 6 hours, around 9am to 3pm), scheduled around that day’s checkouts
• Weekends and holidays are busiest, and everyone is asked to take a share
• Hours flex with the season: fuller from spring through fall, lighter in winter

What you bring

• Take pride in details and notice what needs attention
• Reliable and able to show up on time for shifts you sign up for
• Comfortable working alone and as part of a small team
• Able to use a simple app on your phone
• Physically able to be on your feet for a full shift, including bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs
• Lives in or near Page with reliable transportation
• Hotel, motel, or vacation-rental cleaning experience is a plus (training available for the right person)
• Experience: hotel or motel housekeeping (1 year preferred)

Pay details

• $10 for every checkout room you turn that passes quality inspection
• A cleaner who turns two rooms per hour to standard typically earns about $20/hr
• You always earn at least Arizona minimum wage for every hour worked; you clock in and out, and weekly top-ups apply if needed
• If a room doesn’t pass inspection, you’ll fix missed items before it counts
