Job Description

Join Estancia La Jolla, A Noble House Hotel in La Jolla, CA (onsite) as a Rooms Coordinator focused on guest accommodation, room coordination, and professional service.

Responsibilities

  • Apply the resort’s booking strategies to ensure each party is appropriately accommodated
  • Coordinate room distribution and room status across departments including Front Office, Engineering, Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, and Revenue Management
  • Register guests, provide room keys, and share pertinent information about amenities (Spa facilities, business center, and property events)
  • Handle guest concerns with professional service to support high levels of guest confidence and satisfaction
  • Look for opportunities to maximize revenue

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience as Rooms Coordinator or equivalent experience and training desired
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills for guest interactions and high guest satisfaction
  • Basic computer skills to enter data and read and interpret information
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to solve problems and remain calm and alert with difficult guests, during busy activity periods, or in an emergency situation
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to learn and use hotel computer systems
  • Highly responsible and reliable
  • Ability to work AM, PM, weekend, and holiday shifts based on operational needs
  • Experience in a hotel or resort environment

Salary

  • $25/hour (USD)
