Job Description
At Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland, the Spa Attendant is central to delivering a calm, welcoming wellness experience for every guest who visits the Live! Spa. This onsite role in Hanover, MD focuses on maintaining immaculate spa facilities, supporting smooth locker-room service, and responding promptly to guest needs while keeping the environment clean, stocked, and ready for use.
You will help uphold the spa’s standards of excellence through consistent cleanliness, careful organization of supplies and linens, and warm, attentive guest interactions. From sanitizing wet areas to escorting members in changing spaces, your attention to detail supports a relaxing and rejuvenating visit.
What you will do
- Support guests’ treatment experience by maintaining standards set for the Live! Spa treatment menu and overall standards of excellence.
- Follow all spa and hotel policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the spa by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and taking out trash.
- Keep the spa pantry or dispensary clean and stocked.
- Restock linens in locker rooms and other appropriate guest areas.
- Remove dirty laundry and collect dirty linens from guest areas, delivering them to the housekeeping area or laundry pick-up.
- Clean and sanitize wet areas, bathrooms, and grooming areas throughout the day.
- Distribute and place linens in treatment rooms, workout areas, closets, and the dispensary as applicable.
- Escort members and guests in changing areas in a courteous, timely manner.
- Explain locker room setup and how the bathroom and shower work for members and guests.
- Perform laundry duties when applicable, including washing, drying, and folding linen.
- Ensure areas remain clean and supplies are replenished as needed.
- Build knowledge of the facility and amenities so you can communicate effectively with members and guests.
- Greet each guest with a smile and direct eye contact.
- Inform facility management of member, guest, or facility issues and report any incidents or accidents to the management team.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you bring
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Ability to have conversations with guests so the information conveyed is understood.
- Efficient and well organized, able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Available when the facility is open, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including potential extended hours and an adjusted work week at times.
Tools and equipment used
- Mops, brooms, vacuum cleaners, dusters, scrub brushes, cleaning supplies, detergents, disinfectants.
- Towels, guest supplies such as soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
- Linen carts.
Schedule, setting, and environment
- 24/7 high energy casino environment with over 300,000 sq. ft. of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3,000 employees.
- Exposure to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
- Smoking is allowed in the work environment.
Pay and education
- Salary range: USD 15 - 15 per hour.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.

- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently and 10 pounds of force constantly to move light objects.
