Job Description

The role involves supporting guest services operations at the Hilton Garden Inn in Asheville, with a focus on information provision, reservations and payments, and collaboration with housekeeping to uphold guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with clear information about hotel services, facilities, and available amenities.
Assist guests with requests for local area guidance, including directions and dining recommendations.
Enter or update reservation details within the hotel computer system.
Post charges to guest accounts, process payments, and correct any account discrepancies.
Notify the housekeeping team about room status and availability to support efficient turnover.
Convert walk-in inquiries into booked rooms when possible.
Listen to guest requests or complaints and relay them to the appropriate team members for resolution.

Requirements

Experience at a hotel front desk or similar hotel desk environment.
Ability to work evenings and overnight shifts.
