Hotel Housekeeper

As a Hotel Housekeeper at AC Hotel Asheville Downtown, you will help ensure every guest room stays clean, comfortable, and welcoming. This role supports housekeeping and laundry operations while following safety and sanitation standards and providing courteous, helpful service to guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep guest rooms and suites clean, including bathrooms and living areas, and complete bed changes as needed.
• Work with the housekeeping team to deliver spotless, inviting rooms as part of the guest experience.
• Provide professional, courteous teamwork and assist housekeeping and laundry operations based on daily demands.
• Maintain a clean, stocked housekeeping cart to support efficiency during daily tasks, including preparing the cart for the next day.
• Use professional cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Spend much of the day on your feet, moving housekeeping carts and navigating guest hallways.
• Bring a friendly personality, strong attention to detail, and a focus on making guests feel at home.
• Restock room supplies such as toiletries, coffee/tea, towels, and other items.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Support laundry duties by collecting, sorting, and transporting linens.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide friendly, professional interactions with guests when approached and with team members.

Requirements

• Identification verifying you are at least 18 years of age.
• US Citizenship verification is required.
• Ability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 35 lbs.).
• Ability to use stairs and ladders as needed to complete cleaning tasks, including high areas.
• Desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Quick learning and adaptability in a guest-focused environment.

Compensation and Location

• Location: Asheville, NC (onsite)
• Pay: USD 20 per hourly
