As a Guest Service Agent at AC Hotel Arlington National Landing, you will support a smooth front desk experience by greeting guests, completing check-in and registration tasks, and assisting with reservations, payments, messages, and other daily needs while following hotel and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests immediately and provide assistance with their needs in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Register guests and assign rooms.
- Set up payment methods, verify credit, and ensure accurate transaction handling.
- Create, update, and confirm reservations.
- Prepare bills, collect payments, and provide change when required.
- Transmit and receive messages using telephones and the PMS system.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
- Receive and resolve guest complaints, escalating to a supervisor when necessary.
- Secure guests’ valuables in the hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes when items are not available in guest rooms.
- Complete bookkeeping-related tasks, including balancing accounts and conducting audits.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and support efforts that improve departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Follow safe work habits, wear required protective safety equipment, and adhere to MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Assist in the breakfast area or help guests with luggage during staffing needs or peak periods.
- Maintain overall guest satisfaction and perform additional duties as requested by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
- Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Work Schedule and Physical Requirements
The work schedule varies and may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts. The role requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds, along with bending and reaching. Stooping, kneeling, or crouching may also be required.
Compensation
Salary: USD 18–20 per hour (hourly).
