Night Auditor

Pier B Resort Hotel in Duluth, MN is hiring an on-site Weekend Night Auditor to support overnight operations on Friday and Saturday nights, working from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role focuses on accuracy, guest service, and keeping the property running smoothly during overnight hours.

As the overnight point of contact, you will complete nightly audit procedures, manage guest check-ins and check-outs, monitor security and safety practices, and help prepare daily reporting for the next business day. The position also includes front desk and lobby upkeep, administrative support, and coordination with housekeeping and maintenance when guest needs or facility issues come up.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and confirm accuracy of guest accounts
• Check in and check out guests efficiently while maintaining friendly, professional service
• Monitor hotel security and safety protocols during overnight hours
• Prepare and distribute daily reports, including revenue summaries and occupancy reports
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and record keeping
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support guest needs and resolve facility issues

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or accounting is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficiency with hotel management software and basic computer skills
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus

Compensation

• $18–$19 per hour (USD)
