Join the team at Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN (onsite) as a Night Auditor and help deliver smooth, accurate guest experiences during overnight hours. This role centers on guest support, dependable audit reporting, and clear communication, with a workplace that values inclusion, collaboration, and doing things the right way. Salary is USD 19 per hour, with insurance enrollment, paid time off, and holiday pay available from DAY 1.
What you’ll do
- Welcome arriving guests and complete the hotel’s arrival and check-in experience, ensuring special requests are handled and accurate information is received.
- Thank departing guests, verify billing accuracy, and encourage return visits.
- Engage with guests via phone or electronic communication in line with hotel brand standards to support satisfaction.
- Handle guest records, cash reports, audit reports, and other guest or hotel information with integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Support guest retention by promoting hotel brand loyalty programs and encouraging participation in applicable rate packages, upgrades, and offers.
- Coordinate with hotel departments using verbal communication and the hotel communication log to ensure guest expectations are delivered and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Listen to guest concerns, empathize with challenges, request feedback when needed, and act on concerns appropriately.
- Maintain professional conduct consistent with hotel brand and company expectations.
- Know and communicate hotel emergency procedures and provide assistance to guests during emergencies.
What you bring
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in hospitality or a related industry.
- High School diploma or equivalency education certificate required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in the primary language used in the workplace.
- Ability to work 8+ hours per day at a standing desk or computer, standing and walking frequently throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, lower, and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
