Breakfast Attendant

Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbus East Hotel in Reynoldsburg, OH is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare and maintain the breakfast area while delivering friendly, guest-focused service. This role supports daily operations through setup, stocking, cleanliness, and food safety monitoring.

Onsite Location

This position is in person at the hotel in Reynoldsburg, OH.

Compensation

• $16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the hotel breakfast area each morning
• Ensure breakfast items are properly stocked, fresh, and attractively presented
• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, courteous service
• Replenish food, beverages, utensils, plates, and other supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, tables, counters, and serving stations
• Monitor food temperatures and follow proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist guests with questions and accommodate reasonable requests
• Clean and sanitize the breakfast area after service
• Wash dishes and utensils and maintain a clean kitchen and storage area
• Follow Marriott brand standards and hotel operating procedures
• Report any maintenance or supply issues to management

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous hotel, restaurant, or food service experience preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety procedures
