Cage Shift Supervisor

As a Cage Shift Supervisor, you will help keep cage operations running with accuracy and efficiency while supporting a guest-focused team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
This role oversees cage operations during assigned shifts to ensure financial processes are accurate, secure, and compliant. You will lead and support team members to maintain internal controls and gaming regulations, while delivering service that enhances the guest experience.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain working knowledge of cage operations, including internal functions, controls, and cage software
- Provide timely updates to team members on policy and schedule changes
- Verify paperwork and inventory controls to support efficiency and accurate performance across cage activities (including bank, cage checks, and currency orders)
- Demonstrate strong guest service skills and assist with variances recovery, guest disputes, counterfeit issues, and internal control violations
- Maintain professional rapport and confidentiality when communicating with other departments as required (including IT, Security, and Surveillance)
- Support training and development for team members in cage operations, and monitor business flow to help develop efficient training, break, and shift schedules
- Support HR-related tracking, including LOAs, PTO time, early outs, and special requests submitted by team members
- Assist the Cage Shift Manager with other assigned duties
What You Bring
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results
- Ability to read complex documents and understand state and local tax laws, banking codes, gaming laws, and regulations
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to distinguish between colors
- Flexible schedule
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in casino cage operations or banking preferred
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required (college degree or secondary education preferred)
- Licensing: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency

Physical Requirements
