Casino Porter

Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is hiring a Casino Porter onsite to support cleanliness and order across the casino floor and surrounding areas. This role helps ensure public spaces, employee areas, and the parking garage are maintained to a consistently high standard while staying responsive to guest needs.

Role Overview

The Casino Porter is responsible for cleaning, polishing, and maintaining floors and rugs throughout the property. The position also includes assisting guests when questions or requests come in, and coordinating housekeeping and guest service concerns through clear communication with the management team.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes floors in all public areas, including hallways, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes multiple types of flooring.
• Performs cleaning and care for rugs and walk-off carpet.
• Assists guests with questions and requests.
• Maintains an open line of communication with supervisors and managers regarding housekeeping and guest service related issues.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor with team members, guests, and vendors.
• Accepts performance feedback professionally.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be knowledgeable in all company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals across all units of measure.
• Micros or similar POS software experience preferred.
