Count Room Representative

Shreveport North Hotel & Casino invites you to join as a Count Room Representative on site in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role centers on securing key controls, processing jackpot payouts, documenting cash transactions, safeguarding slot floor operations and machines, and delivering courteous customer service while operating equipment and communicating via a two-way radio.

Responsibilities

• Keep all key controls secured at all times
• Disburse or verify jackpot winnings for guests and complete the required paperwork
• Monitor slot floor activities to protect company assets and funds, and maintain the safety and cleanliness of assigned areas
• Use and communicate clearly via a two-way radio
• Accurately complete department forms documenting cash transactions and jackpot payouts
• Perform minor machine maintenance such as opening and closing machine doors, clearing jams, replenishing paper, and resetting machines
• Cultivate a friendly and courteous rapport with customers and employees

Requirements

• Must obtain and maintain any required gaming certifications or licenses per local regulations
• Detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to operate an electric cart and money counters
• Prior count room experience preferred
• Minimum age 21
