Drop and Count Team Member

Join the Drop & Count team at Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland in Hanover, MD (onsite) to help ensure accurate, secure handling of casino currency and gaming assets.

Responsibilities

• Open, remove, and secure currency from slot machines and table games
• Accurately count slot machine currency drops and tickets
• Operate electronic currency counter/sorter and New Wave ticket counter equipment
• Record currency from each bill acceptor and table game box using the electronic currency counter
• Prepare and bundle currency drops for verification
• Separate slot tickets and currency from gaming machines
• Count chips for the Poker Room
• Prepare count reports and enter results into the computerized online accounting system
• Notify supervisors of any discrepancies or variances
• Maintain a clean and organized count area
• Maintain confidentiality of all information
• Contribute to team efforts and complete related tasks as required
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Obtain and maintain required licensing as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency
• Available for an 8.5 hour shift starting at 1:45AM
• Maintain a well-groomed, friendly, professional presentation
• Handle and count money accurately
• Enter information into computer systems and use a printer
• Read and understand basic instructions and memos
• Distinguish between colors
• Use a 10 key calculator
• Perform stoop, bend, and squat movements
• Work in an environment with loud noise, visual distractions, and temperature changes

Compensation
